KPIT announces 'Sparkle 2015' for engineering students

Seeks to foster a culture of innovation among engineering students by inviting their ideas and viable business plans

Pune based IT and consulting company KPIT is conducting a design and development innovation contest ‘Sparkle 2015’,  in association with College of Engineering, Pune.

With this contest, KPIT seeks to foster a culture of innovation among engineering students by inviting their ideas and viable business plans around the theme ‘Towards Better Mobility and Energy’. The contest is open to all engineering students where the participants, through individual or team projects, will have to submit their innovative solutions for real world problems, and compete to win prizes worth Rs 20 lakh.

Ravi Pandit, co-founder, chairman & group CEO, KPIT said, “Engineering students in India are bustling with new ideas to solve problems with widespread implications. We want these students to invest their time and efforts to design and develop solutions that can deliver bigger impact, at significantly lower costs to impact large number of lives. Two areas that influence most number of people globally are mobility and energy. Therefore, Sparkle 2015 will focus on these two areas and winners will be selected from the entries that endeavor to provide game-changing solutions to problems in these areas.”
 

The last date of submission for the pre-qualification round is October 13, 2014.
