Krauter launches baby products

Krauter Healthcare Ltd today launched its comprehensive range of international quality herbal baby care products in Rajasthan.

Under the brand 'Tenderils'. The products have first been launched in Jaipur and they will soon be available in Jodhpur. After some months, the products are likely to hit Udaipur, Kota and Ajmer.

"An effective blend of time-tested wisdom and modern science, baby care products are well researched and have been made using traditional Indian herbs. Manufactured in Krauter's state-of-art facilities, these products are certified by Indian Drug Authority and AQSR Inc., USA and conform to ISO 9001:2000, HACCP, WHO-GMP, cGMP and GMP standards," Ajit K Chauhan, managing director, Krauter Healthcare Ltd, said while addressing a press conference here today.

The complete range of baby care products from 'Tenderils' consists of herbal body wash, hair wash, massage oil, bath oil, body lotion, body talc, nourishing cream and nappy rash cream.

He said that all the products have been made using herbs like aloe vera, wheat germ oil, tulsi, neem, sandal, khus and hibiscus. These products are mild and free from any harmful chemicals.

"The baby care market in India is estimated to be Rs. 300 to Rs. 350 crore growing at the rate of 20 per cent every year, the fastest growing sector in the FMCG industry," said Chauhan.

Research shows that new age parents are looking for more innovative and gentler products that will not harm the tender skin of their children.

To cater to this need Krauter Healthcare Ltd. took a pioneering initiative by launching herbal based baby care products to nurture the little ones with gentle care of mother nature.

"The brand Tenderils is result of years of research and development in India and abroad. The range is international in standard while catering to the needs of Indian parents. Each herb used in these products have been carefully examined under various parameters like time of plucking the herbs, soil conditions and climatic conditions. We have already launched the brand in Delhi/NCR, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttranchal, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. We will look at West coast in the next phase. The range is priced from Rs 31 to Rs 79 and I am sure it will be a huge hit with children and parents alike. We intend to make an investment of Rs 9 crore in this venture".
