L&T bags Rs 252cr orders

The engineering, construction and contracts (ECC) division of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured deals worth Rs 252 crore for electrical, transmission and distribution works.

According to a release issued by L&T to the BSE today, the order includes a Rs 55 crore order from National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) to set up a 400kv switchyard in Himachal Pradesh for Koldam hydro electric power project, a Rs 56 crore order from Jindal Power to execute a 4x250 MW power plant electrification package in Rajgarh, Chattisgarh and a Rs 30.89 crore contract from Bhutan Power Corporation to set up a 220/66/11kV sub-station at Malbase, Bhutan.
