L&T bags six orders worth Rs 1,230 cr

Engineering major Larsen & Toubro today said it has bagged six orders worth Rs 1,230 crore from different vendors.     

"The orders would be executed by Electrical & Gulf Projects Operating Company, a part of L&T's Construction Division," L&T said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.     

This includes four orders valued at Rs 1,031 crore for transmission line & railway construction, and two orders worth Rs 199 crore for the construction of sub-stations.     

The four orders worth Rs 1,031 crore include a Rs 496-crore order from Mahatransco and a Rs 246-crore order from Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board for the construction of transmission line, to be completed in two years, it added.     

 

The company has received Rs 103-crore order from Power Grid Corporation of India for construction of transmission line, to be completed in 25 months and a Rs 186-crore order from Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd for the construction of railway line, to be completed in two years.     

Further, the company also bagged two more orders valued at Rs 199 crore for sub-station construction.     

The company bagged Rs 71-crore order from Maharastra State Electricity Transmission Company Ltd and a Rs 128-crore order from Maharastra State Electricity Distribution Ltd for construction of sub-stations, the filing added.
