L&T gets orders worth Rs 1,181 crore

Larsen & Toubro's (L&T) buildings and factories arm has won orders worth Rs 1,181 crore during the third quarter of the current fiscal. The orders are for building residential apartments as well as factories including  a specialised support facility building.

The company, in a statement to the stock markets said that the orders worth Rs 558 crore are for the construction of residential buildings and new orders worth Rs 298 crore have been secured for construction of factories.

It said, "A turnkey project has been secured from a major client worth Rs 325 crore for the design and construction of a specialised support building facility."
