| Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and US-based Gulf Interstate Engineering Company have entered into an agreement to form a joint venture firm - L&T-Gulf Pipeline Engineering - to augment L&T's offering in pipelines, support GULF and provide end-to-end engineering and project management services to the hydrocarbon pipeline industry. According to an official release issued by L&T to the BSE today, the joint venture will be housed at its modern engineering campus at Faridabad. While L&T provides engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning services for pipeline projects in India and overseas with operating centres across the GCC countries and Malaysia, Gulf Interstate Engineering is among the leading international, project management and engineering, companies for pipelines and associated facilities.
