L&T John Deere aims at exporting 12,000 tractors

L&T John Deere Private Limited, one of the leading manufacturers of high horse power tractors in the country, is aiming at exporting 12,000 tractors next fiscal as compared to 4,500 units last fiscal.
 
"Our exports crossed 7,500 units this fiscal. We are targeting to export not less than 12,000 units next fiscal," said Mukul Varshney, zonal manager (sales, south) of L&T John Deere.
 
He was addressing the mediapersons on the launch of the company's 40-HP 5103 model tractors in Visakhapatnam on Saturday.
 
"We have a production capacity of 30,000 tractors a year at our Pune unit. We have sold around 10,000 units, both in the domestic and the International market, last fiscal. We expect our sales to cross the 16,000-unit mark this fiscal. Our target is to sell more than 25,000 units in the domestic and international markets next fiscal," Varshney said.
