L&T JV nets Rs 456cr NTPC order

 According to the release issued by L&T to the BSE, the order includes the construction of a concrete lined head race tunnel of approximately 11.3 km length, 5.6 metres in diameter. The project is located in the Chamoli district on the Dhauliganga river.

"This is the second hydropower project that the company will execute, after the Singoli Bhatwari project, in Uttaranchal" the release added.
