Larsen & Toubro (Oman) LLC, the joint venture between L&T and Oman-based Zubair Corporation, today said that it has secured orders cumulatively valued at Rs 1,198 crore ($245 million), including an order for cover construction of a hotel and apartments for the Asian Beach Games, a mosque and underground cabling.
The 2nd Asian Beach Games complex is being developed by Oman Tourism Development Company, the government of Oman’s tourism development, and its investment arm.
The project comprises construction of a hotel, marine apartment buildings, administrative buildings for the games and an athletes’ village. All projects are scheduled to be completed in less than two years.
