L&T, Paul Wurth win Rs 1,200cr order

Larsen & Toubro (L&T), in association with Paul Wurth, Italy, has bagged a Rs 1,205 crore order from Bhushan Steel for turnkey construction of a 2.5 million TPA blast furnace for their plant in Veramandali, Angul, Orissa.

According to a release issued by L&T to the BSE today, the company's share in the project is pegged at Rs 760.5 crore. 'The project is to be completed in 28 months commencing December 2007," the release added.
