Lakshmi Overseas enters into 5 yr agreement with PTC India

Lakshmi Overseas Industries has entered into a five year power purchase agreement (PPA) with PTC India Ltd (PTC) for selling "green power" being generated from the latter’s biomass based 30 Mw Power Plant at a minimum assured price of Rs 7.50 per unit for one year beginning October 2008.
 
This PPA will add to both top line as well as bottom line, the company said in a communication to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
