Lalru-based JCBL, the largest mobility-solution provider and coach body builder in the country, has designed a special application vehicle (SAV) for Sahara Homes. The firm has a market share of over 50 per cent in the organised sector.

The SAV has been built on a Tata 709 chassis on a special order by the Sahara Group and will be used to promote Sahara Homes.

The van name "Sahara Home" has been specially designed keeping its utility and application in mind, using as much space as is necessary to make the passengers and the prospective clientele of Sahara comfortable.

Talking to Business Standard, the director of the company, Rishi Aggarwal said the vehicle would cost Rs 16 lakh plus the cost of chassis. He said it had been designed from scratch to suit the requirement sof the campaign. The company had designed 22 vehicles and expects to make 100 more vehicles for the Sahara Home, he said.

The vehicle has been designed to tour the interiors of the country and get bookings for houses on behalf of the Sahara Home Project. It can work as a mobile office and about 6 to 8 persons can sit comfortably in it.

The SAV is also equipped to display banners on the side glass body. The material used in the SAV is of topmost quality and is fully air-conditioned and can be used as an all-weather and all-terrain vehicle.
