Larsen & Toubro bags two orders worth Rs 651 cr

Engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro today said it has bagged two orders worth Rs 651 crore from HPCL-Mittal Energy and Mangalore Refinery and Petroleum (MRPL).     

The company has bagged an order worth Rs 440 crore from HPCL-Mittal Energy and another Rs 211-crore order from MRPL, aggregating to Rs 651 crore for hydrocarbon projects, Larsen & Toubro said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.     

The HPCL-Mittal Energy order for Rs 440 crore would be executed by the Construction Business unit of L&T's Engineering and Construction Division.     

The order, which is to be completed in 17 months, involves construction of electro-mechanical sections for the Guru Gobind Singh Refinery Project, the filing added.     

 

The second order worth Rs 211 crore from MRPL would be executed jointly by L&T's Heavy Engineering Division and the Construction Business Unit of L&T's Engineering and Construction Division.     

The order involves supply and erection of reactor, generators and other construction works, to be completed in two years, it added.     

Shares of L&T were trading at Rs 1,591.45 on BSE, up 1.48 per cent from its previous closing price.
