Lawrence & Mayo, a premium optical retailer, plans to expand its retail footprint in Odisha by opening at least three more stores in Odisha.
The retailer currently has two stores in Bhubaneswar and plans to add one more to the city. Apart from this, two more stores are going come up in Cuttack and Rourkela by next year.
"Next year, we are looking to open stores in Cuttack and Rourkela. We will be adding one store in Bhubaneswar as well. Today, customers are ready to pay for higher quality products and this is where we sense an opportunity”, said Suman Anjoy, Zonal Head- North East, Lawrence & Mayo.
"With people becoming more conscious, the value of well-known brands has gained wide acceptance. Most people are eager to settle for branded products,” said Anjoy, while adding that the company has bought a number of international eyewear brands to tap the demand for branded products.
Lawrence & Mayo also unveiled its 'I Fest' collection on Wednesday, The series is a mix of brightly coloured frames with pastel tones. The collection will showcase several premium brands, including Emporio Armani, Cartier, Silhouette, Mont Blanc, Gabbana, Burberry, Tag Heuer, Versace, Rayban, Vogue, Tommy Hilfiger and CK. among others.
