"We have received around one million registrations for the second flash sale. The demand for the affordable superphone (as the Chinese smartphone maker calls its flagship device Le 1s) continues to exceed our expectations," Atul Jain, chief operating officer of LeEco India, told Business Standard.
LeEco, which has entered the Indian market with three flagship superphones, -- Le Max, Le 1s and Le Max Sapphire -- last month, received 600,000 registrations for its first flash sale of Le 1s on Flipkart, selling around 70,000 units in just two seconds on February 2, 2016.
Le 1s comes with a 5.5-in display and 3GB RAM with an internal memory of 32 GB. Powered by an octacore MediaTek Helio 64 bit processor, Le 1s runs on Android 5.0 operating system and comes with a 13-MP rear snapper and a 5-MP front-facing camera. It is priced at Rs 10,999.
Stating that LeEco's unique selling preposition (USP) lies in its ecosystem which comprises devices, content, cloud and platform, Jain said that the company was gearing up to roll out three to four different superphones and a couple of LeEco super TVs sometime during the May-June time frame.
"The pricing of these new devices will be decided closer to the date of the launch," he said.

The company today said that Le Max, its 6.3-inch superphone powered by a 2GHz processor and 4GB RAM, will also be
available on open sale starting February 16, 2016. Le Max, which sports a 21-MP rear camera, is priced at Rs 32,000.
