Commercial vehicle major, Ashok Leyland Ltd (ALL) has signed a technical collaboration agreement with Hino Motors of Japan for technology transfer.
The agreement is for the J-series engines that Ashok Leyland will manufacture under license from Hino Motors.
The agreement provides for transfer of technology to ALL for manufacturing the 260 hp, 8 litre, Euro 2 and Euro 3 engines.
