Leyland local sales up marginally in July

Ashok Leyland today reported a  1.29% increase in domestic sales for July at 5,034 units when compared with 4,970 units in July 2006.

The paltry growth in sales was attributed to the slowdown in the industry. 

Exports more than doubled to 540 units from 261 units in July 2006.
