LG Electronics India is eyeing sales turnover of Rs 1,400-crore during the festive season in October and November under its home appliances category.
The home appliances market in India in the festive season is expected to be around Rs 3,000 crore. Of this, the company is targeting around 37 per cent share and aims to to sell around 5.5 million units,” said Rajiv Jain, business head (home appliances), LG Electronics India. It has come up with a new 10-year warranty programme on its products during the season to attract and retain customers.
The home appliances industry, which is pegged at Rs 16,000 crore, has grown at 5 per cent in the last nine months compared with last year.
