Lionel Cars service in Kolkata

GET Lionel India, the specialist corporate travel management company wholly owned by the KK Birla group, recently launched its car rental division, Lionel Cars, in Kolkata.

This launch marks the company's entry into the car rental business, offering the entire gamut of travel management services, through a single window solution, the company claimed in a release.

Lionel Cars will be available in three segments"� mid- size and luxury cars initially and transport vehicles later in 2006.

The three categories will address the varying business travel needs of users.

Drawing from the company's strong corporate travel management lineage, Lionel Cars said it will deliver simplified pricing modules, transparent invoicing and payment processes in addition to providing quality services.

This will enable clients to derive optimum value while reducing costs.

Gaurav Sundaram, chief executive officer of GET Lionel India, said, "This is a step forward in GET Lionel India's endeavour at providing a complete suite of services, nationally and globally to address the travel needs of its corporate clients".

The company hopes to roll out this facility in other centres nationally, in a phased manner by April 2006, he added.

Considering the host of unorganised service providers in the market, the primary focus of Lionel Cars will be to provide its clients with quality vehicles and services in a secure environment.

Lionel Cars have already undergone stringent quality control and security guidelines laid out by key national and global clients.

Later in 2006, Lionel Cars will provide wet-lease solutions to corporate customers.
