Liquid glucose from Ashok Pharma

Ashok Pharmaceuticals, a Rs 15 crore company, has launched India's first-ever liquid glucose 'Ener'G' customised for kitchen use today. Ener'G according to the company is 100 per cent vegetarian and made from high quality corn and free from starch, artificial colours and flavours.

 
Ramesh Khatod,the CEO of Ashok Pharmaceuticals, said that the company was expected to gain ground in the FMCG market with Ener'G. Ener'G can be added to anything prepared at home, from milk shakes, tea, coffee, and juices to cakes, and chocolates. The company expects to sell about Rs 3 crores worth of the product in the first year.

 
The company was the first to introduce multi-vitamins for all age groups and it has a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit in Chennai.

 
It has been awarded the WHO-GMP certification for the manufacture of liquid orals, and all forms of capsules and tablets.
