Liquidity eased for oil firms

As part of a two-pronged strategy to minimise the "potential adverse consequences for financial markets" due to the escalation in global crude prices, RBI also decided to conduct open market operations (OMO) for oil bonds in the secondary market.

The move will help the three public sector oil marketing companies
