Livspace, a home design service provider and curated marketplace for homeowners and designers, on Thursday said it had acquired YoFloor, a mobile platform that offers a virtual trial room for home design decisions, for an undisclosed sum.
This is the third acquisition that Livspace had so far made this year, with the other two being DezignUp in March and Dwll, in in May.

“We are open to acquiring great talented teams, if in line with our growth, and who have shown momentum in home design space but let's say that's not the outcome. It is only part of the strategy,” Livspace co-founder and chief executive officer Anuj Srivastava told Business Standard earlier.

Founded by Ankur Mishra and Archit Rathi and incubated at Mango Technologies, the YoFloor app helps homeowners envision how different home designs, furniture pieces, and furnishings would look like in one's home. As part of the acquisition, the founders and the core team of YoFloor will join Livspace.
With YoFloor, Livspace can provide 3D visualisation tools to in-house designers and users. It can give homeowners an immersive design experience in real-time, eliminating the need for a lengthy exchange of design iterations and feedback.
Founded by Anuj Srivastava, Shagufta Anurag and Ramakant Sharma, Livspace currently has a community of over 575,000 home design enthusiasts.
“With our previous acquisitions, we have built a thriving design community of both designers and homeowners. Now, we will leverage the YoFloor acquisition and focus on building creative tools for our designer community and bring even more scale and choice to homeowners,” Srivastava said in a statement on Thursday.
