 "Lohia Auto set to enter MP with e-rickshaws, diesel three-wheelers")
Lohia Auto Industries, an automobile division of the Rs 600-crore worth Lohia conglomerate, is all set to enter central Indian state Madhya Pradesh with the launch of its new e-rickshaws and diesel three-wheelers.
Also, the company is looking to increase the number of its dealers to 200 throughout the country during the current fiscal from the current 80 dealers. 10-15 among these will come up in Madhya Pradesh, said the company officials.
“We are keen to tap the opportunities in both personal and public transport space. I am confident that our technologically superior and efficient two wheelers and three wheelers will generate significant interest and demand across all prominent cities here,” said Ayush Lohia, CEO Lohia Auto Industries.
Currently, the company’s entire range of two-wheelers and three-wheelers are being manufactured at Kashipur, Uttrakhand with a capacity to produce 100,000 units.
The company plans to sell around 10,000 vehicles nationwide in the current fiscal which is double compared to the number of vehicles sold last year, said officials.
