Legal process outsourcing firm Pangea3 today said it will hire over 100 lawyers in the next 3-6 months under its expansion plans.
"In the past month, we have recruited more than 50 lawyers and within the next 3-6 months, we expect to recruit more than 100 additional lawyers for our Delhi facility," Pangea3 Co-CEO Sanjay Kamlani said.
The current total headcount of Pangea3 is more than 450.
The Mumbai-based firm is expanding its Delhi base. It anticipates that its spend towards this centre will exceed $3.5 million (Rs 16 crore) in 2010 and double that amount in 2011.
"We selected Delhi for our current phase of expansion due to the excellent quality and large number of professional lawyers in Delhi in addition to the growing improvements to Delhi's infrastructure," Kamlani said in a statement.
After maintaining its office in Delhi as a small satellite office since 2006, Pangea3 decided earlier this year to scale its operations in Noida with the aim of matching its Mumbai operations in terms of capacity and capability in 2010 and exceeding it thereafter.
