Drug-maker Lupin today said its consolidated net profit rose by 2.98% to Rs 227.20 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011.
The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 220.62 crore for the same period last fiscal, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The company posted net sales of Rs 1,511.54 crore for the fourth quarter ended March, 2011, compared to Rs 1,286.09 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
Consolidated net profit of the company for the financial year ended March 31, 2011, stood at Rs 862.55 crore, compared to Rs 681.63 crore in the previous fiscal.
Net sales of the company for the year ended March 31, 2011, stood at Rs 5,706.82 crore, as against Rs 4,773.63 crore in the financial year ended March 31, 2010.
Shares of Lupin were being quoted at Rs 421.70 apiece in late afternoon trade on the BSE today, up 0.30% from their previous close.
