LVB Q1 up marginally to Rs 25.35 crore

Bank's total income rose to Rs 532.45 cr from Rs 461.25 cr qoq

Lakshmi Vilas Bank Limited (LVB) has reported a marginal growth in net profit during the quarter ended June 2013 at Rs 25.35 crore as compared to Rs 25.23 crore, a year ago.

Bank's total income rose to Rs 532.45 crore from Rs 461.25 crore, a year ago, an increase of 29.24 per cent. Bank's interest income stood at Rs 477.92 crore as compared to Rs 419.05 crore, an increase of 14.05 per cent.

Total Business of the Bank has grown to Rs 27,537.59 crore from Rs 24,639.54 crore, an increase of 11.76 per cent.

Per centage of Gross and Net NPA stood at 5.27 per cent and 3.74 per cent respectively as against 3.58 per cent and 2.21 per cent respectively. The Bank has said that these slippages are short term and it will be addressed during the current fiscal.
