Mahindra & Mahindra has launched today its latest addition to the utility vehicle (UV) segment, Mahindra Maxx, an upgraded version of its Marshall model, in West Bengal.
"Priced at Rs 4.05 lakh (ex-show room price at Kolkata inclusive of sales tax), the Mahindra Maxx offers a complete package including seating comfort, competitive price, better ride coupled with the reliability and toughness of Mahindra vehicles" said Rajesh Jejurikar, vice-president-marketing, automotive sector of M&M.
The leader in the utility vehicle segment with a 47 per cent share, M&M aims at increasing its pie in the segment with Mahindra Maxx. " The company is targeting commercial as well as personal applications with Mahindra Maxx. The product will help the company improve its competitive edge and gain market share, " he said.

Nearly 1.10 lakh utility vehicles were sold in a year in the country. The Maxx advertisement campaign has been launched highlighting that the car offers "maximum space and comfort." Local advertisements will be released on September 17.
Maxx is being introduced with white, sunny beige, dark grey, dark green colours. More colours will be introduced based on customer feedback.
