M&M Q1 net profit up 41%

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) today reported a 40.56% increase in net profit at Rs 204.18 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2006 when compared with Rs 145.26 crore in Q1FY06.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 2,281.69 crore from Rs 1,832.23 crore in Q1FY06.
