M&M's Scorpio sales up 37% in Sept

Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) today announced a 37% increase in Scorpio sales at 3,164 units in September - the highest-ever monthly sales for the model since inception.

An official release said Scorpio sales in the first half of the fiscal grew 19% to 15,154 units.

Domestic utility vehicle sales increased 6% to 10,410 units in September from 9,800 units in the same month last year.

Total domestic passenger vehicle sales, including LCVs and three-wheelers, stood at 13,300 units in September. "Exports of passenger vehicles grew 66% to 539 units in September," the release said.
