Madhucon bags 4 NH projects

Hyderabad-based Madhucon Projects Limited has been awarded four National Highway projects of 330 kilometres "� three in Tamil Nadu and one in Rajasthan "� with a total positive grant of Rs 410 crore. The four projects, awarded on a BOT basis, are worth around Rs 1,800 crore.
 
According to a press release issued by the company, financial closure for the first project in Rajasthan between Bharatpur and Mahua, at a cost of Rs 300 crore with a 25-year concession period, has already been achieved.
 
The concession agreement for the second BOT project between Trichy and Thanjavur involving design, engineering, finance, construction, operation and maintenance at a cost of Rs 340 crore with a 20-year concession period and a positive grant of Rs 78.44 crore was signed recently, the press release said.
 
Madhucon had also received in-principle sanction from financial institutions for the project, it added.
