Madhucon bags Rs 1,198 cr thermal power projects

Infrastructure firm Madhucon Projects today said it has bagged a contract worth Rs 1,198 crore for the construction of two thermal power projects in Andhra Pradesh.

The company has secured the order worth Rs 1,198 crore for the development of 2x150 MW thermal power projects at Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh, Madhucon Projects said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The project would be completed in 27 months, it said.

Shares of Madhucon Projects today closed at Rs 164.90 on the BSE, up 3.65 per cent from previous close.
