Madras Cements net dips 11 % at Rs 363.52 cr

Madras Cements today reported a decline of 10.96 per cent in its net profit at Rs 363.52 crore for the year ended March 31, 2009, over the same period last year.

The company had a net profit of Rs 408.29 crore for the year ended March 2008, Madras Cements said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Total turnover of the company rose to Rs 2,545.47 crore for the year ended March 2009, from Rs 2,021.35 for the same period last year.

The board of directors of the company has declared a dividend of Rs final dividend of Rs one per share for the year 2008-09.
