Madura Garment's vice-president (marketing) M Vasanth Kumar has quit the company to join the Dubai-based $600-million Landmark Group in a senior position. Informed sources said that he will either take up a position overseas or spearhead some new venture of Landmark in India. |
Senior Landmark officials in India when contacted cited the weekend holiday in Dubai on Friday and said an announcement is expected on Saturday. |
Vasanth Kumar preferred not to comment. Landmark officials said that the statement slated for Saturday will pinpont the position, venture and place of work. |
The Landmark Group has over 300 stores across West Asia and India. It currently runs seven Lifestyle international stores in the country and targets opening 21 by 2006-07. |
