Madura plans Rs 170cr retail expansion

Madura Garments, a division of Indian Rayon and Industries, is planning to invest Rs 170 crore in the retail sector.

"We have a vision to make Madura Garments a $ 100 million brand in the coming five years in the first phase followed by $ 200 million in the second phase through these initiatives of retail promotion," Vikram D Rao, executive president of Madura Garments Group, said.

Madura Garments also plans to open 25 exclusive Louis Philippe outlets in the next three years, he added.
