Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) has chalked out a state-level Rs 14,523.93 crore infrastructure development plan aimed at making electricity distribution system more effective & efficient and bringing down distribution losses.

The plan is to be implemented in all 11 zones of MSEDCL in the state in the coming 3 years by March 2009.

Speaking to Business Standard, MSEDCL Nashik zone chief engineer Deore said:
