Maharashtra Seamless has posted a five per cent growth in net profit at Rs 17.22 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2004 as compared with Rs 16.35 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. |
Total income (net of excise) has increased to Rs 142.33 crore (Rs 99.65 crore). The company recorded a 13 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 72 crore in 2003-04. During the last fiscal, the company's turnover grew 27 per cent to Rs 569 crore. |
The company's board has proposed a total dividend of 40 per cent. Recently, the company bagged a Rs 95 crore order from Indian Oil Corporation to supply pipes for its Chennai-Trichy-Madurai pipeline. |
