Mahindra Holidays net up 31% at Rs 31 cr

Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India today posted 30.63 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 31.09 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010.

For the same quarter last fiscal, the company's net profit was Rs 23.80 crore.

During the three-month period under review, the company's net sales grew 12.77 per cent at Rs 127.92 crore, up from Rs 113.43 crore in the same period last fiscal.

For the nine-month period ended December 31, 2010, the firm's net sales stood at Rs 333.31 crore and net profit at Rs 62.58 crore, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

 

Part of India's leading business conglomerate Mahindra Group, the company has a growing customer base of over 79,000 members and 23 resorts including the flagship brand 'Club Mahindra Holidays', according to its official website.

The company's scrips closed at Rs 372.00 per share, up 3.68 per cent from the previous close on the BSE.
