Revenue for this quarter grew by 15 per cent at Rs 3,175.4 crore, from Rs 2758.8 crore for the same quarter last financial year.
For the year ended March 31, 2008 the company posted net profit (audited) of Rs 1103.37 crore up by just 1.45 per cent from Rs 1087.5 crore at the end of financial year 2007. Total income grew 14 per cent from Rs 10,221.24 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 11,671.6 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008.
On consolidated basis the Group posted net profit (after minority interest) of Rs 1571.12 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 1497.15 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007. Revenue has increased from Rs 17,868.9 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 24,445.29 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008.
