Tractor sales numbers of automaker Mahindra & Mahindra's farm equipment segment rose 24% during May 2013 at 23,626 units compared to 19,016 during May 2012.The company's domestic sales have also grown by 25% standing at 22,471 units during the month
Rajesh Jejurikar, Chief Executive, Tractor and Farm Mechanization, Mahindra & Mahindra said, "We are delighted with the 24% growth during May 2013 and are happy to have achieved a consistent growth over the last two months which we are sure will have a positive impact on the overall tractor industry. Exports for the month of May 2013 stood at 1,155 units, showing a growth of 16% over May 2012.
