Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd today said its total tractors sales increased by 33% to 26,637 units in September.
The company had sold a total of 20,085 units in September 2012, M&M said in a filing with the BSE.
Domestic tractor sales were up 37% at 25,922 units as against 18,908 units in the same month last year.

Exports were, however, down by 39% to 715 units as against 1,177 units in September last year.
Commenting on the monthly performance, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd Chief Executive (Tractor and Farm Mechanisation) Rajesh Jejurikar said: "On the back of a good monsoon, we are delighted with a 37% growth in tractor sales despite the traditionally low buying period in September. We see a healthy growth continuing over the next couple of months."
