Mainetti to set up cloth hanger mfg unit in Chennai

Lifestyle garment hanger maker Mainetti India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of  Mainetti Group, has opened a new manufacturing unit at Sriperumbudur, Chennai. The Rs 35 crore new facility spread across 29,000 square feet is the largest amongst all the manufacturing units of Mainetti-India. It will support the market expansion plan of the group for India.

Speaking at the opening, Sanjeev Kumar, regional managing director, said: "The new facility has the capacity to produce 300 million hangers a year from its multiple manufacturing units in Chennai and is expecting 50% increase in the productivity" he further added.

Rajesh Menon, VP-marketing, Mainetti India said: " As retailers today aim to fill maximum merchandising within the space, hangers become a very important element in retail industry and more so the Mainetti hangers because they are designed and developed with precision to carry the garment in its real form and not just for hanging a garment. The investment in setting up the facility is with a vision to reach globally and strengthen our market presence.
