Mallya in talks with HAL, Eurocopter to buy choppers

 "That all depends on whether its viable. The studies are on and we will be deciding soon," he said.

Inspired by the helicopter service between Manhattan and JFK airport in New York, Mallya said, "if people want to pay, I can replicate the US model in India."

"It takes more time to reach the airport from Mumbai city than to fly from here to Bangalore. If people wish to pay, i can provide connectivity between airport and cities. My presumption is that first class passengers will pay and go. And the facility can be extended to more passengers if they are willing to pay to save time," he said.
