Man Infraconstruction Q4 net profit at Rs 21 cr

Man Infraconstruction today reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 21.61 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 2010.

The company had a net profit of Rs 21.70 crore in the same quarter ended March 2009, Man Infraconstruction said in a filing to the BSE.

Net sales stood at Rs 176 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2010, however it had a net sales of Rs 151.47 crore in the same period previous fiscal.

"The figures of net sales from operations for the current and previous financial year is not comparable, as in a number of assignments, contracts, cement, steel and other material is provided by the client on a 'free supply' basis," it said in the filing.

The board of directors has proposed a dividend of Rs 1.80 per equity share on the face value of Rs 10 each to the shareholders.

For the year ended March 2010, the consolidated net profit stood at Rs 88 crore, while the firm posted a net profit of Rs 81.98 crore in the same year ago period, the filing added.
