Martin group of companies, the country's largest lottery company, is spreading wings abroad. |
The group has bagged contracts to provide gaming solutions in the UAE, Republic of Liberia and Uzbekistan. |
"We have got the clearances from the Reserve Bank of India and we would shortly roll out the operations there," said Ramu Annamalai Ramasamy, president, InLott Technologies. |
Martin Lottery Agencies has tied up with the Department of Small Savings & State Lotteries of Maharashtra as its online lottery agent. The company plans to make each InLott retail outlet into a small savings mobilisation-cum-facility centre. |
"The move is part of the company to convert the network of terminals into a multi-utility service," said Usman Fayaz, chief executive officer, Martin group. |
Started in July 2002, InLott is the Internet and online lottery solutions provider and has over 3,000 terminals across the country. |
In each InLott retail outlet a separate space/counter would be provided for the small savings mobilisation from the InLott retail outlet where the lotteries are sold. |
Maharashtra is the country's No.1 state for 2003-04 in the net mobilisation of small savings investments. |
