Martin group of companies, the country's largest lottery company, is spreading wings abroad.

The group has bagged contracts to provide gaming solutions in the UAE, Republic of Liberia and Uzbekistan.

"We have got the clearances from the Reserve Bank of India and we would shortly roll out the operations there," said Ramu Annamalai Ramasamy, president, InLott Technologies.

Martin Lottery Agencies has tied up with the Department of Small Savings & State Lotteries of Maharashtra as its online lottery agent. The company plans to make each InLott retail outlet into a small savings mobilisation-cum-facility centre.

"The move is part of the company to convert the network of terminals into a multi-utility service," said Usman Fayaz, chief executive officer, Martin group.

Started in July 2002, InLott is the Internet and online lottery solutions provider and has over 3,000 terminals across the country.

In each InLott retail outlet a separate space/counter would be provided for the small savings mobilisation from the InLott retail outlet where the lotteries are sold.

Maharashtra is the country's No.1 state for 2003-04 in the net mobilisation of small savings investments.
