Maruti announces marginal hike in prices

Maruti Udyog today announced a marginal increase in prices of certain models.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, the increase, which comes into effect from today, varies from 0.17-1.47%.

"The hike is due to the rise in input costs and freight costs, which have increased following the rise in oil prices," the release added.

There is no change in the prices of Swift, Zen, Baleno (Vxi) and WagonR (petrol), the release added.
