Maruti July sales up 25%

Maruti Udyog today reported a 24.8% increase in sales during the month of July at 57,909 units as against 46,408 units sold in July 2006.

According to a release issued by Maruti to the BSE today, domestic sales were up 18.3% at 52,839 units from 44,653 units in July 2006.

Exports zoomed 189% to 5,070 units as against 1,755 units in July 2006.
