Maruti launches new Zen

Maruti Udyog Ltd, the country's leading car-maker, on Saturday announced the launch of the redesigned and all-new Zen, its flagship premium compact car, in Gujarat.

The chief general manager (spares) of MUL, C K Dave, and regional manager (west) of the company, K Adhinathan, were present at the formal unveiling ceremony of the redesigned car with a contemporary European styling.

"We are delighted to present the all-new Zen in Gujarat, which represents the newly acquired research and development capabilities of Maruti and is a landmark in Suzuki's plans of making Maurti its research and development hub for the Asian market outside Japan. The new Zen is created for the people who are young and love the vehicle's core attributes but wished it had a more contemporary look,." an official said.

The modified Zen will now be available with all leading MUL dealers across the state and in Ahmedabad, it will be available with Cargo Motors and Kiran Motors, the two main dealers, along with Kataria Vehicles and other dealers, the officials said.
