Maruti Nov sales up 27%

Maruti Suzuki, the country's largest car maker, sold 69,699 vehicles in November - an increase of 26.6%.

Domestic sales increased 24% to 65,216 units from 52,574 units sold in November 2006. Exports increased 82% to 4,483 cars.

New models like Zen Estilo, Swift and SX4 contributed to the increase in sales. Thanks to the SX4 sedan, the A3 segment registered a growth of 104% at 4,260 units.
