Maruti Suzuki launches Alto K10

Maruti Suzuki India today launched another version of Brand Alto --Alto-K10.

In a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange the company said that the new version is equipped with K series, 998 cc engine. This version called Alto K 10, will come with improved suspension, new cable type transmission, superior brake system.

By adding another brand, the company expects to bring in additional customers. The existing Alto clocks average sales of over 20,000 units every month.

“There are a growing number of first time buyers who seek more power, performance and attitude in their car, without having to stretch all the way to buy a higher segment car. The Alto K 10 is meant for them,” said Shinzo Nakanishi, managing director and CEO, Maruti Suzuki India.

 

At BSE the stocks of the company was trading at Rs 1,218 up 0.43 from its previous close.
