Maruti Udyog's Q3 net soars 70%

Maruti Udyog has posted a 70% jump in net profit to Rs 239.66 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2004 as compared to Rs 140.75 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2003.

According to a release issued to the BSE, the total income (net of excise) has increased 27% from Rs 2377.50 crore in Q3-03 to Rs 3016.47 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004.
